Jr. Staff Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Junior Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in corporate accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day general ledger accounting activities
• Prepare and post basic journal entries and accruals
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist with invoice processing, cash applications, and payment processing
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Assist with maintaining accurate financial records
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Recent college graduate or 0–2 years of accounting experience
• Internship or previous accounting experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting team
