Full Charge Bookkeepers with Payroll experience needed

Our team is seeking experienced Full Charge Bookkeepers for ongoing onsite opportunities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-cycle bookkeeping experience, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage financial activities across multiple entities. This role is well suited for professionals who are detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable handling payroll and day-to-day accounting operations independently. *These positions are located in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas*

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities
• Process payroll and support related reporting and compliance activities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis
• Support audits and ensure documentation is complete and organized
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role
• Proven experience working with multiple entities
• Experience processing payroll
• Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Must be able to work onsite in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with accounting or ERP software such as QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, SAP, or Workday
• Knowledge of payroll management and internal accounting controls
