Junior Legal Assistant

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant who is eager to learn, grow, and support a busy legal team. Whether you're pursuing a paralegal certificate, recently graduated, or have some legal support experience, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the legal field while working alongside experienced attorneys and legal professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support attorneys and legal staff with day-to-day administrative and legal tasks
• Draft, edit, and format legal correspondence and documents
• Maintain client files and organize case information
• Schedule meetings, appointments, and deadlines
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
• Assist with document management, scanning, filing, and recordkeeping
• Track important dates and ensure deadlines are met
• Conduct basic legal and factual research as needed
• Help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate (completed or in progress)
• Prior legal, administrative, customer service, or office experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, or similar software
• Notary Public or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
• Interest in building a long-term career in the legal field
