Systems Administrator

Austin, TX | Contract | Hybrid (2+ days on site)

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support and enhance a hybrid Microsoft infrastructure environment. This role will focus on systems administration, cloud operations, identity management, automation, and operational support while partnering with cross-functional IT teams to ensure a secure and reliable technology environment.

• Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms.
• Manage user identity, access controls, and enterprise authentication systems.
• Resolve production incidents and track service requests through completion.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Support cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across enterprise platforms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of systems administration or infrastructure support experience.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of identity management platforms, networking, and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting both Microsoft and Linux environments is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
• Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, Ping, or other identity platforms.
• SolarWinds or other enterprise monitoring solutions.
• Microsoft Graph, JavaScript, or shell scripting experience.
