Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Janitor. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises, including exam rooms, waiting areas, elevators, reception areas, offices, public areas, and more, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable for daily operations. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, carpet maintenance, spot cleaning, laundry, and ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked. The Janitor will also assist with waste disposal, regulated medical waste, and recycling efforts to help maintain a safe and environmentally friendly workspace. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently while upholding our commitment to cleanliness and safety in our medical environment.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High school diploma
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
· Ability to lift 20lbs; prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending at the waist.
· Ability to pass an extensive background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.
