SUMMARY

The position supports a broad range of disciplines including supply chain management, asset management, daily delivery operations, emergency/disaster response, and more to support growth of the division. The Mission Critical Operations Specialist will support the operations of the Mission Critical division for day-to-day and emergency operations. The normal day for this position may include data entry for customer pricing, logistics support, vendor coordination and liaison between sales and operations to ensure customer’s needs are always met. Daily tasks may require a combination of hands-on activity or administrative work depending on what is needed.

DUTIES

  • Review and submit daily fuel pricing for Mission Critical LTL Operations.
  • Support and engage in emergency activations as assigned.
  • Support day to day operations for Northern Virginia, Texas, and Arizona operations by delivering fuel or providing support to the sales and operations teams.
  • Account creation and maintenance within Sales Force CRM and Cargas or Fleet Panda (logistics software).
  • Asset management, tracking and record keeping.
  • Administrative support for the Emergency Operations Manager.
  • Position includes up to 25% travel as necessary to markets to support day to day operations or special projects.
  • New vendor setup for Emergency, Northern Virginia, Texas, and Arizona operations.
  • Fuel reconciliation and reporting for daily operations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KEY CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

  • Highly organized
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Have a Class A or B CDL with X endorsement
  • Manual Transmission experience
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with X endorsement within 90 days, if not currently held
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Problem solver

KEY CANDIDATE SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Education or related experience in operations management.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Entry knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of petroleum industry (preferred)
