Craft Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
The RenewableEnergy (RE)Craft Analystprovides essential operational support to the Craft Management Team. This role plays a keypartin coordinating day-to-day activities related to workforce planning, craft management, and craft talent development across all REprojects. The RECraft Analystensures that craft resources are accurately tracked, effectively deployed, and aligned with project needs and schedules.This position specifically supports two critical self-perform groups: Mechanicaland ElectricalSelf-Perform, assisting with all craft-related programs and workforce initiatives.In addition, this role is instrumental in the day-to-day coordination and execution of the companys Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) for relevant occupations, helping to ensure compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) standards and successful program implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Oversight & Development:Assist in the development and execution of standardized procedures, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure alignment, efficiency, and effective coordination across compliance and craft management programs
- Craft Management:Support the day-to-day operations of Craft Management activities by tracking workforce planning tasks, coordinating with HR and operations toassistwith the implementation of craft initiatives,maintainingschedules and documentation, andassistingwith succession planning efforts through data collectionforself-perform scopes.
- RAP Management:Assistin the execution of RAP activities in coordination withRE Program Management TeamandCraft Project Managers, ensuring consistent implementation and overall RAP program health across allInflation Reduction Act (IRA)projects, in line with McCarthys RAP framework.
- Team Leadership & Structure: Assist with the developmentand execution ofthe Craft Management and IRA/RAP Compliance Teams Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to ensure alignment with the companys overall AOP, strategic goals, and evolving operational demands
- Operational Excellence:Help ensure that RE Craft Management and RAP Management activities meet or exceed service level expectations, cost-saving goals, and quality standards through proactive planning, ongoing performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross Market Collaboration:Collaborate with regional and business unit leadership to align RE Craft Initiatives and RAP Management efforts with broader multi-market business strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Research,recommendand leadcontinuousimprovements to currentcraft managementtools, processes, and workflows that enhance efficiency, accuracy, or scalability.
Success Metrics
- Successfulexecution ofRERAPrequirements across IRA open shop projects.
- Successfullyassistin thelaunch and management ofannual craft development initiatives aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (e.g., 2025: Competency Framework,Foreman/General Foreman Talent Pipeline).
- Successfully support theadoption andutilizationof RE Craft Management Programs and Initiatives by RE project teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum of2 yearsyearsof administrative experience (in the construction industry a plus).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to partner with all levelsof employees across theorganizationandcommunicate professionally.
- Strong computer skills and be able todemonstrateproficiencywith MS Office products and labor compliance software (LCPtrackera plus).
- Able to adapt well tonew technologychanges.
- Understanding of prevailing wage and apprenticeship regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, multi-task, critical thinking and meet critical deadlines with eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to createandimproveprogramprocesses and procedures
- Ability to travel up to15%
