Responsibilities
This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S
The Director, Cloud and Infrastructure Product Management is responsible for establishing product management practices across the Technology Engineering & Platforms organization. This role will drive demand management, prioritization, roadmap development, and stakeholder alignment to ensure platform investments are aligned with business and engineering priorities.
As the organization evolves toward a product-led operating model, this role will help define governance, intake, planning, and prioritization processes while partnering with engineering leaders to establish a scalable squad-based delivery model. The role will initially operate as a senior individual contributor with the opportunity to expand responsibilities as the function matures.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Vice President, Technology Engineering & Platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Define platform vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities and platform domain objectives
- Lead the transition from project-based delivery to a demand-driven, product-led operating model across Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering.
- Establish and operate a standardized demand intake model to evaluate, sequence, and govern all platform work
- Own the Infrastructure & Cloud portfolio governance process, including prioritization, sequencing, capacity planning, and executive visibility into platform investments.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering, business technology teams, and enterprise stakeholders to align priorities, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
- Translate business and engineering needs into clearly defined platform capabilities, requirements, and roadmap commitments
- Drive adoption of platform services by defining value propositions, promoting standardization, and reducing reliance on bespoke solutions
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations to ensure platform capabilities are aligned to standards and delivered effectively
- Define and track KPIs for platform adoption, customer satisfaction, engineering productivity, and portfolio health
- Provide regular, transparent reporting on roadmap progress, backlog priorities, and platform outcomes to leadership stakeholders
- Establish mature product management practices, including lifecycle management, backlog governance, and planning cadences
- Help establish the long-term operating model for Infrastructure & Cloud Product Management, including Product Owner alignment, squad ownership models, and governance frameworks as the organization matures.
- Ensure alignment between platform delivery and the organization’s transition from project-based work to demand-driven, backlog-led execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in product management, technology strategy, or portfolio management
- Experience influencing senior technology leaders and driving alignment across engineering, operations, security, and architecture organizations.
- Experience working with enterprise infrastructure, cloud, or internal technology platforms
- Demonstrated experience developing product roadmaps and managing backlogs
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management practices
- Experience working with cross-functional technology teams, including engineering and operations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Agile, product-led, or platform operating models within infrastructure, cloud, or engineering organizations.
- Experience in platform engineering or developer platform environments
- Experience establishing or scaling a product management function
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and software delivery pipelines
- Experience in large, enterprise-scale technology environments

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $146,900 - $180,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
