Legal Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support legal operations in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is well suited for someone who can manage filings, maintain organized case records, and keep attorneys informed of critical deadlines. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment and brings strong coordination skills across litigation matters.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and submit legal documents through electronic filing systems in accordance with court procedures and deadlines.
• Maintain attorney calendars by tracking hearings, filing dates, meetings, and other case-related commitments.
• Organize case files, correspondence, pleadings, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate and accessible records.
• Coordinate court filings and related administrative tasks for civil litigation matters.
• Monitor upcoming deadlines and follow up with attorneys and internal stakeholders to keep case activity on schedule.
• Assist with drafting, formatting, and finalizing legal documents for submission and internal use.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting personal injury legal teams in a Legal Assistant or similar position.

• Working knowledge of electronic filing processes and court submission requirements.

• Familiarity with civil litigation procedures and legal documentation.

• Strong calendar management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.

• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling filings and case materials.

• Proficiency in organizing documents and managing legal administrative tasks.

Compensation

$55,000.00-$75,000.00 Yearly
