Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with department leaders to address employee relations concerns and help resolve day-to-day workplace issues effectively.
• Interpret and explain HR policies, handbook guidelines, and applicable employment regulations to employees and supervisors.
• Assist with workplace investigations and help coordinate appropriate follow-up actions, including disciplinary documentation and processes.
• Oversee onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring required forms and employment documents are completed accurately in the HR system.
• Process payroll entries and support accurate, timely compensation administration using ADP or a similar payroll platform.
• Administer employee benefit communications for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and leave-related programs, including 401(k) and unpaid sick leave guidance.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions and partner with the benefits broker on enrollments and more complex coverage matters.
• Prepare HR-related reports within the organization’s system and maintain accurate personnel records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or closely related HR role.• Demonstrated background in employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, and benefits support.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and leave and benefits administration.
• Experience processing payroll, preferably with ADP or a comparable payroll system.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and the ability to learn new systems and reporting tools quickly.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain policies and procedures clearly to employees and managers.
• High level of discretion, organization, and attention to detail when handling confidential employee information.
Compensation
