Senior FP&A Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented Real Estate FP& A analyst Accountant to join our team in New York, New York. This role involves portfolio performance, budgeting/forecasting, financing and debt structure, and will work with Accounting, Senior Leadership, and Asset management to provide analysis on Rea lEstate portfolio performance.
FP& A Analyst:
- Will report to the CFO with daily interaction with accounting
- Will prepare materials for lenders, internal investment review, external partners and provide summary along with analysis for reporting, analysis for refinancing, impact on rent roll etc..
- Analyst will prepare and present reports to leadership, this individual must be comfortable presenting
- Provide support in trust accounting processes, including managing books and reporting activity.Portfolio consists of Commercial, Residential, and Retail real estate – they handle everything in house including property management, M& A, Asset Management etc…
- 5x in office; During the summer months, they are closed on Fridays and will have a 4 day work week. However, it is the responsibility of the staff to complete their deliverables timely, if needed, individual may at times need to put in a few hours on a Friday.
- Very stable group with minimal turnover
- Previous experience with Financial Modeling and Argus is required
Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of analyzing lease up activity, rent rolls, and Residential/Commercial real estate perofmrance analysis
• Working with banks, partners, lenders on financing, debt restructuring
• Prepare and present financial insight to senior leadership with supporting analytics and Dash board reporting
• Familiarity with Commerical, Residential and Mix Used Real Estate is required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical abilities to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
