Dispatcher
A local Knoxville company is seeking to hire multiple Dispatchers to support a fast-paced alarm monitoring and emergency response environment. This position is responsible for receiving and processing incoming alarm activity from commercial properties, including burglary, fire, medical, trouble, and supervisory signals. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and emergency responders. This position is for a new training class that will begin on: Monday, August 190th. Two weeks of paid training is required without any missed time/ days.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and process alarm, trouble, and supervisory signals as they are received.
Respond to incoming signals from commercial properties related to burglary, fire, medical, and other emergency situations.
Determine the appropriate agency to contact, including police, fire, or ambulance services.
Place outgoing calls to verify alarm activity, dispatch proper authorities, and notify responsible parties.
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while speaking clearly with customers during urgent situations.
Accurately document all alarm activity and response actions within the alarm monitoring software.
Enter and update information in the computer system with a high level of accuracy.
Follow established procedures to ensure timely and appropriate emergency response.
Qualifications
Prior dispatch, call center, monitoring center, customer service, or emergency response experience preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and software programs.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Drug, Background and Fingerprinting process.
ONSITE- IN KNOXVILLE. SHIFT: 2ND TIME: 3P-11P
Lunch and break times are PAID for!
2 Week paid training is during a day shift from: 9a-4:30pm. Must attend all days!

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in dispatching, call center operations, alarm monitoring, emergency response, or customer support is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while handling high-pressure situations.
• Strong computer proficiency, including comfort using multiple software systems and monitors at the same time.
• High level of attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Dependable attendance, including full participation in the required two-week paid training period.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to complete pre-employment screening requirements, including drug testing, background checks, and fingerprinting.
MUST BE ABLE TO START ON 2ND SHIFT FROM 3P-11P. FIRST TWO WEEKS OF TRAINING IS 9A-4:30PM.
Compensation
