Financial Copywriter

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Copywriter to support a growing digital content hub in New York, New York. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone with experience creating clear, compliant financial messaging for U.S. audiences across digital formats. The right candidate will be skilled at adapting content for different channels, maintaining brand consistency, and developing concise scripts for explainer-style video content.

Responsibilities:
• Create original financial content for digital platforms, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and audience relevance.
• Adapt existing materials into channel-appropriate copy while preserving tone, messaging standards, and editorial consistency.
• Produce scripts for short-form explainer videos that translate complex financial topics into accessible narratives.
• Apply established style guidelines across all assignments to maintain a cohesive brand voice.
• Review and refine copy to improve readability, grammar, and overall effectiveness before publication.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to shape content that supports campaign, educational, and promotional goals.
• Contribute copy for email, advertising, and other customer-facing communications as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

• Experience in copywriting, with a strong preference for work in U.S. financial services or related regulated industries.
• Demonstrated ability to write and edit digital content with close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience transforming source material into refined copy tailored to different formats and audiences.
• Background in scriptwriting for explainer videos or similar concise storytelling formats.
• Strong command of style guides and the ability to follow brand and editorial standards consistently.
• Proficiency in copy editing and promotional writing across digital marketing channels.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$28.50-$33.00 Hourly
