AI Program Manager

We are looking for an AI Project Manager to join our team in Appleton, Wisconsin in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position will guide AI-focused initiatives from concept through execution, connecting business priorities with technical delivery while helping shape practical, high-value solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership, creativity in identifying opportunities, and the ability to organize ideas into clear, actionable use cases.

Responsibilities:
• Direct and support a team of AI engineers, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverables stay aligned with business goals.
• Partner with business leaders and technical teams to translate needs into well-defined AI initiatives and practical implementation plans.
• Develop, refine, and prioritize use cases that demonstrate measurable value for internal or customer-facing applications.
• Evaluate incoming requests, concepts, and proposed opportunities to determine feasibility, impact, and strategic fit.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders by leading discussions, clarifying expectations, and maintaining momentum across cross-functional teams.
• Apply structured project and program management practices to oversee scope, milestones, risks, and resource coordination.
• Encourage innovative thinking by shaping and presenting new ideas that can expand AI capabilities within the organization.
• Use agile methods where appropriate to keep initiatives moving efficiently and adapt plans as project needs evolve.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project or program management, including leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder communication and build alignment between business partners and technical teams.
• Experience defining business or customer use cases and turning concepts into organized project plans.
• Strong knowledge of formal project management methodologies; PMP certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices in technology-driven environments.
• Ability to assess competing ideas, prioritize requests, and guide decision-making with a strategic mindset.
• Exposure to AI-related tools, platforms, or concepts such as Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies is desirable.

Compensation

$57.00-$72.00 Hourly
