Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their accounting team on a full-time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with hands-on month-end close experience who is looking to contribute to a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close process and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Work daily within SAP and Concur to support accounting operations.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting the month-end or book closing process.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Experience using SAP and/or Concur is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
