Benefits Coordinator
We are looking for a Benefits Coordinator to support employee benefits operations for a long-term contract opportunity. This position focuses on delivering accurate, responsive assistance across benefit programs while helping employees and internal partners navigate enrollment, leave, and related inquiries. The ideal candidate brings strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage benefit-related requests in a service-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer day-to-day benefits activities, ensuring employee benefit programs are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate enrollment changes, qualifying life event updates, and annual open enrollment tasks across applicable plans.
• Respond to employee and stakeholder questions regarding benefits, leave matters, and COBRA-related processes with clear and effective communication.
• Maintain benefit records and documentation, verifying data integrity and resolving discrepancies through established workflows.
• Manage and assign incoming requests through a ticketing system, prioritizing issues and following through to completion.
• Support leave of absence administration by tracking cases, communicating requirements, and coordinating with relevant internal or external partners.
• Assist with compensation and total rewards-related benefit coordination activities as needed to support broader HR operations.
• Collaborate with vendors, HR team members, and cross-functional contacts to address benefit issues and improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
**Must reside in Eastern Time Zone**
• Experience supporting employee benefits administration, benefits coordination, or a related human resources function.
• Working knowledge of employee benefit plans, benefit programs, and common benefits practices.
• Familiarity with COBRA administration and leave of absence processes.
• Experience assisting with open enrollment and employee benefit changes throughout the plan year.
• Ability to work effectively within a shared services environment and manage work through a ticketing system.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Compensation
