Recruiter
We are looking for an Recruiter to support hiring initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity based in St Paul, Minnesota. This role focuses on attracting talent with relevant experience, guiding candidates and hiring teams through each stage of the recruitment process, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the hiring cycle. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage recruiting activities with accuracy, consistency, and attention to policy and procedure.
Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring decisions.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Use databases, recruiting systems, and computer programs to track candidate progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, delivering a detail-oriented experience and responding to questions with a customer-focused approach.
• Support hiring operations by applying established policies, procedures, and HR administrative practices consistently and accurately.
• Develop candidate pipelines through networking, referrals, outreach, and other sourcing methods such as cold calling when appropriate.
• Prepare recruiting reports and hiring updates using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to support decision-making and planning.
• Coordinate recruitment-related training, scheduling, and process support to help maintain efficient hiring operations across the facility or assigned business areas.
Qualifications:
• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources administration within a fast-paced business environment.• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, databases, and other recruiting or business software applications.
• Strong knowledge of hiring processes, HR practices, and the application of workplace policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and with candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in operational recruiting tasks.
• Experience with candidate sourcing methods such as networking, media outreach, referrals, and direct outreach strategies.
• Strong customer service skills, sound negotiation abilities, and careful judgment in candidate and stakeholder interactions.
Compensation
