| Job Summary | The student worker will assist the Appalachian Center Director and Department Manager in the daily workings of the Center including preparing for events and programming, communicating with a diverse group of stakeholders, scheduling, and interacting with the university and community partners. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Candidates with a demonstrated interest in Appalachian Studies are preferred but all are welcome to apply. Candidates with strong communication skills, organizational skills, and technological skills including website design, graphic design, Excel, and Word are encouraged to apply. This position requires strong time management skills. |
