Description

Clinical duties include:

Preparing patients for exams.

Obtaining vitals and patient histories.

Assisting physician/Extender with exams

Preparing exam rooms for patient procedures.

Monitoring, cleaning, stocking exam rooms.

Documentation into electronic medical record.

As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.

Other duties as necessary/assigned.

Clerical duties may include:
Scheduling patients for appointments and ancillaries, telephones, pre-certifications.
Assisting with Supply orders.
Other duties as assigned/necessary.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE APPLICANTS MAY ALSO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
Must have previous experience in medical office setting, preferably the specialty of Endocrinology.Must be familiar with electronic medical records.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high focus on quality patient care.Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced environment.Ability to assist with minor in-office procedures if necessary.
Must hold RMA, CCMA, or other qualifying certification
