Our client is seeking a Gastroenterologist to work in a Level II Trauma Center serving as the tertiary referral center for people statewide. This unique opportunity offers a diverse patient population, a breathtaking geographical setting, and a cohesive medical team.

Location: Anchorage, AK

Compensation:

Salary: $649,656k + $25k for call

Sign on Bonus: $50,000

CME Allowance: $6,000

Relocation: $20,000

Level II Trauma Center providing care to outpatients and inpatients

Qualifications & Requirements

Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Valid Alaska License or ability to obtain

COVID Vaccine Required

Responsibilities:

Manage outpatients in clinic

Provide consults for adult inpatients

Perform 15-25 procedures per week

See 10-14 patients in office per day

Handle 7-10 inpatient consults per week

Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to working with diverse populations

Support Staff:

Case manager

Assistant case managers

CNA

ERCP and EUS procedures are not performed by Gastroenterology
