This role is in support of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (DS) Enhanced Production and Integration Center. The role will have Management responsibilities for the production line assembly for one or more contracts. This role will be responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs). Provides direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents. Direct Work Involvement Monitors work operations of hourly employees on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to subordinates as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Prior exposure to manufacturing on DoD contracts
- Knowledge of the Lean Manufacturing production method
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Strong communication (both verbal and written)
- Bachelors and 5 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or production environment or 4 years in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience/knowledge of working within AS6500 Manufacturing Management Program standard
- Experience performing RCCA analysis in a manufacturing environment
- Basic data‑analysis ability (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
