Patient Service Rep
A busy Neurology practice in Doylestown is seeking a Patient Service Associate (PSA) to support front desk operations and deliver an exceptional patient experience. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while managing a high volume of administrative and scheduling responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position is On-Site and the hours are 8am - 4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients for appointments
Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Maintain accurate patient information within EPIC/PennChart
Scan and upload medical records and documentation into patient charts
Assist with patient registration and demographic updates
Manage incoming faxes and other office correspondence
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
Required Qualifications
Previous front desk or patient access experience in a medical office setting
Hands-on experience with EPIC/PennChart
Strong appointment scheduling experience
Comfortable handling a high volume of patient calls and inquiries
Proficient with document scanning and electronic medical records
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Specialty practice experience
Experience in a high-volume physician practice or healthcare system
Knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration processes
The ideal candidate is a personable, organized healthcare professional who thrives in a busy patient-facing environment. They are comfortable multitasking, have strong EPIC/PennChart skills, and can provide compassionate, professional service to patients while managing competing priorities.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a customer service or patient-facing support role.• Ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Experience scheduling appointments in a healthcare or clinical environment.
• Working knowledge of Epic software or a comparable electronic health record system.
• Familiarity with neurology practice support or another specialized medical office setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when handling charts, graphs, and patient-related documentation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to learn new processes through training.
