Programmer Analyst II
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications using .NET technologies such as C# or Visual Basic within the Visual Studio environment.
• Partner with users and internal teams to evaluate operational needs, translate business processes into technical solutions, and recommend improvements that support manufacturing workflows.
• Create and support database-driven applications using SQL Server, including writing queries, procedures, and related data management components.
• Troubleshoot software issues, analyze root causes, and deliver timely resolutions that maintain application performance and reliability.
• Contribute to web-based development efforts and assist with related scripting or automation tasks where needed, including PowerShell-based support activities.
• Work with ERP and business system platforms, preferably Infor CloudSuite Industrial or SyteLine, to enhance system functionality and align applications with business requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, program updates, and support materials to promote consistency and long-term system usability.
• Provide after-hours support when required and handle sensitive business information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• Detail-oriented experience developing applications with .NET using C# or Visual Basic in Visual Studio.• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and hands-on ability to support database-related development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing business processes and experience supporting ERP or business systems, ideally Infor CloudSuite Industrial or SyteLine.
• Understanding of web development concepts and technologies, with ASP.NET and JavaScript experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with SharePoint is an advantage.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability in a technical environment.
• Effective communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage priorities independently.
• Ability to participate in an on-call support rotation, maintain strict confidentiality, and travel reliably with a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Compensation
