Supply Chain Planner

Compensation: $23.75 to $27.50 Hourly

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to support manufacturing operations in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position will oversee production planning activities, help maintain reliable delivery timelines, and coordinate closely with manufacturing teams to keep schedules on track. The role is well suited for someone who can balance day-to-day execution with forward-looking capacity analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain production plans that align with operational demand, testing requirements, and release timelines.

• Coordinate cross-functional activities to move work through manufacturing and approval stages without unnecessary delays.

• Facilitate daily production discussions, establish priorities, and ensure teams are aligned on current output goals.

• Detect delivery risks early, develop corrective actions, and escalate critical issues to leadership when needed.

• Address competing production needs and troubleshoot manufacturing-related obstacles that could affect customer commitments.

• Track schedule performance, communicate progress updates, and report the status of ongoing production activities.

• Partner with production leaders to allocate staffing and resources effectively across shifts and daily workloads.

• Review production results to identify causes behind schedule gains or setbacks and recommend process improvements.

• Analyze capacity limitations and operational constraints to support longer-range planning and stronger manufacturing performance.


Qualifications:

• Experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or manufacturing scheduling within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of supply chain management principles, including production coordination and material flow.
• Ability to manage purchase requests or related planning inputs that support production readiness.
• Familiarity with global supply chain considerations and their impact on scheduling and delivery performance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify bottlenecks, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions.
• Effective communication skills for leading meetings, coordinating across departments, and escalating issues clearly.
• Proficiency in monitoring production activity, maintaining accurate records, and reporting schedule performance.

Compensation

$23.75-$27.50 Hourly
