Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound patient calls professionally, provide clear information, and direct inquiries to the appropriate clinic resources.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling, update calendars, and help maintain an efficient daily flow for providers and patients.
• Welcome patients upon arrival, assist with intake activities, and prepare them for clinic visits in a courteous and timely manner.
• Handle order entry and administrative documentation accurately while supporting routine front-desk and customer service functions.
• Communicate test-related updates to patients as directed and address questions or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Process payments and other revenue-related transactions while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Use clinic communication tools to support timely coordination, patient safety, and effective collaboration across teams.
• Work closely with administrative and clinical staff to resolve service issues and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.• At least six months of experience in customer service or a medical office setting, or an associate degree.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a detail-oriented and approachable manner.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with limited supervision.
• Comfortable responding to questions from patients, physicians, managers, and clinic staff in a clear and effective way.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
Compensation
