We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in accounts payable, general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities while partnering closely with the Finance team to ensure accuracy and timely financial reporting. This role is well-suited for an accounting professional with 1-5 years of experience who is looking to grow their skills in a collaborative manufacturing environment!
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy of vendor invoices
- Support general accounting activities and daily accounting operations
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Support review and analysis of account balances
- Assist with audit requests and internal controls
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
- Partner with Finance team members on ad hoc accounting projects
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-5 years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounts payable and general accounting functions
- Understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Manufacturing or similar industry experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across Finance and Operations teams
