Audio Visual Technician
Responsibilities:
• Deliver onsite support for conference room and meeting space technology, ensuring audio-visual systems remain operational for daily business use.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues affecting collaboration tools, room systems, and digital display solutions.
• Assist employees with meeting preparation, room setup, scheduling support, and live troubleshooting during meetings and events.
• Perform routine walkthroughs of office spaces to identify malfunctioning equipment early and address issues before they disrupt users.
• Monitor administrative portals and reporting tools related to AV platforms, device health, and digital signage performance.
• Partner with senior team members to evaluate system performance, investigate recurring problems, and recommend practical improvements.
• Provide end-user guidance and informal training so employees can use meeting room technology more effectively and avoid repeat issues.
• Support installation, maintenance, and physical adjustment of AV equipment, including tasks that involve lifting, bending, climbing ladders, or working around furniture.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting audio-visual environments, including conference room technology and enterprise collaboration tools.• Familiarity with platforms and equipment such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Poly, Logitech, Neat, AppSpace, or similar solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across hardware, software, and basic network-related components in an onsite support setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consistent focus on responsive, user-centered service.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed approach to problem solving, with a willingness to learn new tools, research solutions, and contribute proactively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb ladders, and maneuver in tight spaces when installing or repairing equipment.
Compensation
