Full Charge Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and maintained in an organized manner.
• Manage incoming invoices and outgoing payments while monitoring vendor accounts for accuracy and timeliness.
• Track customer billings, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow.
• Complete regular bank and account reconciliations to confirm the integrity of financial records.
• Prepare financial reports and statements to provide leadership with a clear view of business performance.
• Maintain job cost records and allocate expenses appropriately to support project-level financial tracking.
• Utilize Sage 100 to process accounting activities, update records, and generate reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience serving in a Full Charge Bookkeeper capacity with responsibility for end-to-end accounting functions.• Background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation activities.
• Hands-on proficiency with Sage 100 in an accounting environment that requires strong attention to detail.
• Experience with job costing, preferably within the construction industry.
• Ability to prepare financial statements with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively in a part-time contract role.
Compensation
