Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support core accounting operations in San Ramon, California. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing close activities, and ensuring balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, sound judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support accounting operations, financial controls, and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Partner cross-functionally to meet business goals and drive effective decision-making.
• Improve processes, reporting, reconciliations, and financial tools.
• Prepare journal entries, monitor transactions, and support month-end close activities.
• Analyze financial results, explain variances, and identify data issues for management.
• Assist with audits, ad hoc requests, and global accounting policy consistency.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update procedures as processes evolve.
• Promote efficiency, accountability, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and audit experience in public accounting. CPA strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Process improvement and automation mindset.
• Effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Compensation

$95,000.00-$110,000.00 Yearly
