Jr HR Generalist (Laurie P)
We are currently partnering with a client that is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Generalist to their growing HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional eager to build a well-rounded foundation in Human Resources while gaining exposure to recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, employee administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine desire to learn and develop a long-term career in Human Resources. This role will support a variety of HR functions and provide critical administrative and operational support to ensure a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Administration:
- Process employment verification requests and employment certifications.
- Coordinate and schedule employee exit interviews.
- Assist with HR scheduling, meeting coordination, and employee communications.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within HR systems.
- Support HR compliance and documentation processes.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Support:
- Post job openings to internal and external job boards.
- Open and manage requisitions within the applicant tracking system.
- Review and route resumes to hiring managers for consideration.
- Schedule interviews and assist with candidate communications.
- Prepare interview packets and recruiting-related materials.
- Provide additional recruiting support during periods of high-volume hiring to ensure all openings remain current and candidates move efficiently through the hiring process.
Onboarding Support:
- Coordinate and track onboarding activities for new hires.
- Monitor and follow up on background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Ensure new hire documentation is completed and processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain onboarding trackers and assist with new hire readiness across multiple systems.
- Help keep onboarding tasks organized and ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee transition.
HR Operations & Reporting:
- Generate and distribute HR reports as requested.
- Prepare interview packets, training materials, and employee resources.
- Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Support data entry, tracking, and monitoring activities across HR systems.
- Help maintain organization and workflow across multiple HR programs and processes.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Coordination, Recruiting Coordination, Talent Acquisition Support, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred:
- Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or another Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Exposure to recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience supporting HR operations in a corporate environment.

Compensation
