Web Application Developer

We are looking for a Web Application Developer to serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern web applications and AI-enabled solutions supporting a federal program. This role combines full-stack engineering, cloud architecture, client engagement, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET/C#, modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud-native technologies, and experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET/C#, JavaScript frameworks, and cloud technologies.

·      Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance across the development lifecycle.

·      Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.

·      Implement AI-powered features using generative AI platforms, AI APIs, and intelligent automation capabilities.

·      Partner with business stakeholders and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.

·      Establish engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and promote development best practices.

·      Architect and support deployments in AWS and/or Azure environments.

·      Drive CI/CD, DevOps, security, performance, and quality initiatives.

·      Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.

Qualifications:

Core Qualifications:

·      U.S. Citizenship required.

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

·      8+ years of full-stack web application development experience.

·      Strong experience with .NET/C# and one or more modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.

·      Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.

·      Strong SQL development experience, including writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects.

·      Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.

·      Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML capabilities, AI APIs, or generative AI features into business applications.

·      Understanding of secure software development practices and modern application architecture.

·      Experience leading technical discussions, mentoring developers, and working directly with business stakeholders or clients.

·      Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Master's degree in a related technical discipline.

·      Experience with Node.js, Python, or additional backend technologies.

·      Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar AI platforms.

·      Experience building or supporting production generative AI solutions.

·      Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

·      Experience with serverless architectures and containerized deployments.

·      AWS, Azure, AI/ML, or cloud-related certifications.

·      Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

·      Prior experience supporting federal, regulated, or mission-driven environments.

·      Active or previous Public Trust clearance.
