Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Analyze current business operations and system workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical process improvements that align with organizational goals.
• Gather, define, and document functional and business requirements for enhancements, new applications, and process changes across cross-functional teams.
• Act as the primary link between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure solution design and delivery meet operational needs.
• Work with development and technical teams to clarify requirements, evaluate enhancement requests, and help prioritize work based on business impact and user value.
• Create test strategies and detailed test scenarios, support quality assurance activities, and review outcomes to confirm solutions meet documented expectations.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and approval activities before releases, helping ensure readiness for system updates and process changes.
• Support implementation efforts by assisting with deployment planning, user training, adoption strategies, and post-launch issue resolution.
• Provide ongoing support for system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements while helping maintain a positive experience for end users.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers and guide change management efforts to improve adoption, satisfaction, and long-term success of new tools and processes.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business analysis with the ability to map processes, evaluate gaps, and translate operational needs into actionable requirements.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Experience documenting complex process and system requirements and partnering with implementation teams, developers, or IT groups through delivery.
• Working knowledge of testing practices, deployment support, and user training within software or business system projects.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methods and the ability to contribute effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional delivery environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including experience with document review and requirements validation.
• Industry exposure to regulated environments is a plus, particularly work involving laboratory, inspection, quality control, or related operational settings.
• Formal business analysis training or demonstrated success supporting complex enterprise initiatives is preferred.
