Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a long-term contract opportunity supporting business operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who can translate business needs into clear documentation, improve customer service processes, and work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will help evaluate current workflows, identify process gaps, and support practical solutions that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze business processes and gather operational needs to define clear, actionable requirements for stakeholders and project teams.
• Review documents, workflows, and service procedures to identify inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with customer service and call center teams to understand pain points and recommend process enhancements that improve the user experience.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to clarify expectations, priorities, and solution scope.
• Conduct gap analyses to compare current practices with desired outcomes and outline recommendations for change.
• Support Agile Scrum activities by helping refine backlog items, document user needs, and contribute to ongoing project planning.
• Track requirement changes, maintain organized documentation, and ensure project materials remain accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business analysis within a fast-paced operational or customer service environment.
• Working knowledge of call center processes and customer service workflows.
• Strong ability to review and interpret documents, procedures, and business records with attention to detail.
• Experience participating in Agile Scrum teams and supporting iterative delivery practices.
• Demonstrated skill in gap analysis, process evaluation, and requirements documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate project documentation.
