Transactional Attorney
Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on transactional matters involving corporate operations, asset transfers, and commercial real estate deals.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts related to acquisitions, purchases, sales, leases, and other business arrangements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions by conducting legal analysis, organizing transaction documents, and coordinating key deal terms through closing.
• Structure and document purchase and sale transactions with attention to legal compliance, timing, and risk mitigation.
• Draft a variety of agreements, ensuring terms are clear, enforceable, and aligned with client objectives.
• Perform due diligence for business and property transactions, identifying legal issues and recommending practical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to move transactions forward efficiently and resolve contract-related concerns.
• Provide strategic guidance on transactional law matters while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and high standards.
Qualifications:
• Licensed attorney in good standing with the ability to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.• At least 5 years of experience focused on transactional legal work.
• Demonstrated background in commercial real estate and broader real estate transactions.
• Strong experience handling purchase and sale agreements and related deal documentation.
• Working knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, including document review and transaction support.
• Proven ability to draft, analyze, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements.
• Excellent judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail in a client-facing legal environment.
Compensation
