Data Analyst I

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst I to support environmental data and compliance activities in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a Long-term Contract position requiring onsite availability Monday through Friday, where the successful candidate will help maintain accurate records, review profile information, and support waste tracking operations. The role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with large data sets, and able to manage routine tasks with precision and consistency.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain database records and shared site content by entering and updating information for new, amended, and recertified profiles.
• Post current approval documents and treatment standard notifications to shared platforms so records remain complete and accessible.
• Examine incoming waste profile information for regulatory accuracy, land disposal restriction details, and inconsistencies across internal documentation.
• Monitor operational data and generate recurring reports using Excel, including tasks that require advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Verify shipment-related information to support accurate waste tracking and reporting.
• Research missing or conflicting data and resolve discrepancies through careful review of available records.
• Organize large volumes of information while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word or similar office software.
• Experience with data entry, database maintenance, and document review in a detail-sensitive environment.
• Ability to type accurately and efficiently, with strong transcription and recordkeeping skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, quality documentation, or government-regulated processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of hazardous or non-hazardous waste manifesting and profiling is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with solid time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to complete any required pre-assignment or customer-specific drug and alcohol screening, if applicable.

Compensation

$25.00-$30.00 Hourly
