Maximo Consultant
Responsibilities:
• Lead configuration activities within IBM Maximo 9, including workflow design, security setup, classifications, attribute management, communication templates, and report-related updates.
• Manage data import and maintenance tasks through MaxLoader to help maintain accurate and reliable system information.
• Support project delivery across implementation stages by contributing to testing, validation, deployment preparation, and user training efforts.
• Investigate application issues, identify root causes, and provide practical recommendations that align with business and operational needs.
• Partner with stakeholders and end users to document requirements, clarify system behavior, and ensure effective execution of assigned work.
• Provide functional support for facilities and operations teams, including scenarios involving handheld or mobile device usage.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing activities by helping define test scenarios, validating outcomes, and addressing defects or gaps.
• Work across a broad range of consultant-level tasks in a fast-paced setting, balancing priorities while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with IBM Maximo, including recent experience at a senior consultant level.• Proven expertise with IBM Maximo 9 and deep knowledge of system configuration components.
• Strong background in workflows, security groups, classifications, attributes, communication templates, and reporting within Maximo.
• Experience using MaxLoader for data conversion, imports, and ongoing data maintenance.
• Prior involvement in implementation support, testing, deployment activities, and end-user training.
• Ability to troubleshoot system and process issues independently and recommend effective, experience-based solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation and drive execution.
• Familiarity with UAT processes and tools such as Crystal Reports is preferred, along with experience supporting facilities or operations environments.
