Office Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients upon arrival, complete the check-in process, and provide attentive service at the front desk.
• Review insurance details for accuracy, process patient payments, and document transactions appropriately.
• Update and organize patient information within electronic records systems to maintain complete and accurate files.
• Support administrative workflows by preparing documents, scanning records, and handling routine clerical tasks.
• Assist with referral processing, prior authorization coordination, and related follow-up activities.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to general inquiries, and direct messages to the appropriate team members.
• Facilitate clear communication among patients, providers, and office staff to support efficient daily operations.
Qualifications:
• Experience performing receptionist or front-office support duties in a detail-focused environment.• Ability to answer inbound calls courteously and manage multiple inquiries efficiently.
• Proficiency with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
• Experience scanning and organizing documents with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with electronic records and maintaining accurate information.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle several administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation
