Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end payroll activities with accuracy and timeliness using ADP WorkForce Now, including processing, record upkeep, and distribution of payroll information.
• Coordinate employee benefits administration by working with providers, reviewing billing, and responding to team member questions regarding available programs.
• Monitor HR practices to ensure alignment with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations as well as internal policies.
• Work closely with hiring managers to support talent acquisition efforts, including posting roles, screening candidates, and guiding new hires through onboarding.
• Deliver and coordinate employee training initiatives while helping maintain required compliance-related learning programs.
• Act as a primary HR contact for employee concerns by providing guidance on workplace policies, resolving issues, and promoting positive employee relations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records, job documentation, and performance-related files within the HRIS.
• Support performance management and retention efforts by helping implement practical HR programs and best practices that strengthen employee engagement.
• Contribute to internal communication and culture-focused initiatives, while assisting with special HR projects and other assigned duties as business needs evolve.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in a human resources generalist or similar HR position.• Practical experience with ADP WorkForce Now for payroll processing is required.
• Working knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR information systems.
• Understanding of employment law and standard HR compliance practices across multiple functional areas.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using collaboration tools such as Teams or Zoom.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across different levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred; HR certification is a plus.
