Accounts Payable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Manage a high volume of vendor invoices by reviewing, coding, and entering transactions accurately in JD Edwards.
• Examine billing details such as rates, quantities, and payment terms to confirm completeness and correctness before processing.
• Coordinate payment execution through checks, electronic transfers, and wires while following company procedures and scheduled due dates.
• Reconcile vendor account statements, investigate discrepancies, and work with suppliers or internal teams to resolve outstanding issues promptly.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and supporting documentation to ensure records are complete and audit-ready.
• Support month-end close activities by assisting with accruals, account reconciliations, and other payables-related reporting tasks.
• Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries with clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Track lien release documents and help ensure payment processing aligns with applicable compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably within construction, real estate, or a related industry.• Hands-on experience using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or comparable ERP/accounting software.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable procedures, reconciliations, and journal entry support.
• Experience handling high-volume invoice processing with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with lien release documentation is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
