Treasury Manager
TREASURY MANAGER
Strategic Treasury Leadership Opportunity
Our client, a growing professional services firm with operations across the United States and Canada, is seeking a Treasury Manager who thrives in building, scaling, and transforming finance organizations. This is not a traditional treasury role. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor—someone who can develop a vision, create the roadmap, build the processes, and drive successful execution.
This role is designed for a finance leader with a strong blend of Treasury, FP& A, and strategic finance experience, ideally gained within a large global organization. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner across the finance organization and broader enterprise, influencing stakeholders at all levels while helping modernize and scale key finance capabilities.
The Opportunity
As the firm continues to grow, implements a new ERP system, and redesigns key finance processes, the Treasury Manager will play a critical role in building and enhancing treasury operations for the future. This individual will help establish best practices, improve cash visibility and forecasting, drive process standardization, and support broader finance transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate has experience building, rebuilding, or significantly transforming a treasury function, with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, multi-entity, global environments. Success in this role requires someone who can balance strategic leadership with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of treasury technologies and treasury management systems.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and external vendors to enhance treasury infrastructure, automate workflows, improve reporting, and increase cash visibility.
- Drive treasury system transformation initiatives, including treasury workstations, cash forecasting tools, bank connectivity platforms, and payment technologies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline operations, strengthen controls, and support scalable growth.
- What We're Looking For
- The ideal candidate is a treasury leader who has helped modernize and elevate a treasury organization. They have successfully implemented treasury technology, built scalable forecasting processes, improved liquidity visibility, and partnered across finance to drive meaningful change.
This person is a builder, not a maintainer. They can develop the roadmap, gain stakeholder buy-in, get into the details when necessary, and ultimately deliver measurable results.
Experience leading treasury transformation efforts within a global organization, including Treasury Management System or Treasury Workstation implementations, will be highly valued.
What Makes This Opportunity Different
This is more than a traditional treasury management position. The individual selected will help shape the future state of treasury operations while serving as a trusted finance partner across the organization. The role offers significant visibility, the opportunity to lead meaningful change, and a clear path for long-term growth and increased responsibility.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive Treasury, Corporate Finance, or FP& A experience within large, complex, multinational organizations.
- Proven experience implementing, upgrading, or optimizing Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or Treasury Workstations.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Kyriba, HighRadius, FIS Integrity, GTreasury, SAP Treasury, Quantum, Bellin, or similar treasury technologies.
- Demonstrated success leading treasury-related ERP integrations, system transformations, process redesigns, and automation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, treasury controls, banking connectivity, payment processes, and forecasting methodologies.
- Ability to bridge strategy and execution by translating business requirements into scalable treasury solutions.
