Product Manger
Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented Product Manager to join our team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Product Manager Overview: Responsible for ensuring that the company's products succeed commercially and technically throughout their lifecycle. This position will work closely with engineering, operations, sales, supply chain, and customers to develop and improve physical products.
Product Manager Essential Responsibilities:
Product Strategy
- Define the product vision and roadmap and align product strategy with the company's business goalsAnalyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor products and identify opportunities for new products or product improvements
Customer and Market Research
- Meet with customers, distributors, and sales teams to gain feedback and understand pain points Translate customer requirements into product specificationsMonitor industry regulations and technology trends
Product Development and Life Cycle Management
- Work with R&D and engineering teams to develop new productsPrioritize product features and technical requirementsReview prototypes and testing results and ensure products meet quality, cost, and performance targetsManage product lifecycle through product planning, development, launch, growth, and end of lifeCost reduction initiatives
Financial Responsibility
- Build business cases for new productsForecast demand and revenue and monitor product profitabilityRecommend pricing strategiesTrack KPIs such as margins, market share, and ROI
Product Launch
- Coordinate production readinessDevelop launch plans with marketing and salesTrain sales teamsSupport customer demonstrations and trade shows
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years’ experienceBachelor’s Degree requiredStrong understanding of manufacturing processesKnowledge of Engineering fundamentalsExperience with Product life cycle management, Experience conducting data analytics, market analysis, and cost modelingExperience managing projects Organized self-starter with initiative, creativity and ability to influenceExceptional communication skills (interpersonal, written and presentation)Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must remain in a stationary position (sit/stand) for extended periods. Must operate a computer for extended periods. Must have adequate vision for computer work and reviewing documents. Must be physically capable of lifting, up to 25 lbs., occasionally. Must be physically capable of occasional bending, squatting, or stooping.Must be able to hear and speak clearly for effective communication.
