Job Summary:

This position is responsible for participating in regulatory and compliance activities at the PA PUC and FERC on behalf of UGI, including but not limited to annual PGC filings, pipeline Section 4 rate cases, industry-wide proceedings, and other regulatory reporting obligations. This position is also responsible for tracking pipeline tariff rates, managing supply contracting activities, and administering the Company’s Choice and Transportation programs.

Essential Functions:

• Regulatory and Rate Planning – Monitor FERC proceedings and provide status updates for internal stakeholders and management. Maintain accurate records of applicable interstate pipeline tariff rates and determine impact of pipeline rate filings on the Company and its customers. Utilize pipeline tariff records and market trends to calculate forward-looking supply cost projections.
• Contract Administration – Manage the administration of new supply contract drafting and existing supply contract renewals, terminations, extensions, or amendments for all gas supply contracts. Act as primary point of communication between external contracting parties, Supply team, Legal team, and any other involved groups. Negotiate Interconnect Agreements for new and existing direct supply connections to UGI’s distribution system.
• Choice and Transportation Program Management –Develop monthly WACOD rate for the Company’s capacity release programs. Calculate monthly pre-month normal, design day delivery requirements, and daily delivery requirements for Choice program. Determine appropriate capacity allocations for suppliers serving Choice and Transportation customers. Provide ongoing supplier support related to Choice and Transportation program administration.
• Government Reporting and Compliance – Prepare and maintain periodic reporting to comply with PA PUC and FERC regulatory requirements, as well as the Company’s SOX, Audit, and risk management policies. Assist with the preparation of the Company’s Purchased Gas Cost (PGC) filing at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and Purchased Gas Adjustment (PGA) filing at the Maryland Public Service Commission. Prepare any data collection or analysis necessary to support the Company’s regulatory activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of UGI’s supply portfolio and applicable interstate pipeline tariffs
• Understanding of Natural Gas and Electric markets and industry events
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

• B.S. in Business, Accounting, Public Policy, or related discipline (preferred)
• Analyst I – 0+ years related experience
• Analyst II – 2+ years related experience
• This position may be filled at the Analyst I or II level. The final level will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications as assessed through the interview process.
