Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Plumber to join our team in Fort Riley, KS. The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing expertise combined with proven supervisory skills to lead and manage plumbing projects efficiently. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee a team, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain safety standards on all job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing teams on residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate plumbing work to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Inspect plumbing systems and installations to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed on site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues promptly and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Plumber or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Valid plumbing license or certification preferred.
