About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Website Developer (Business Execution Consultant) to be part of the Wells Fargo Meetings & Events (WFME) team, with a focus on event registration solutions, attendee management, digital tools, reporting, quality assurance, and operational execution. This role is responsible for executing assigned and ongoing business operations that support business goals, event delivery, risk management, and customer experience. The role will help design, build, test, launch, and support event registration websites, mobile applications, surveys, attendee communications, and related event technology workflows.

The Business Execution Consultant will work closely with planners, marketers, business partners, technology teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, compliant, and attendee-focused event solutions. The role is expected to exercise independent judgment within a defined scope of work, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute recommendations to improve execution quality, efficiency, and consistency.

This role is intended for a developing professional who can independently manage routine to moderately complex deliverables, escalate appropriately on higher-risk or more complex matters, and continue building broader consulting, stakeholder management, risk, and business execution capabilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent demonstrated experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Meetings & Events, hospitality, event registration management, attendee management, or related operational support

  • Experience working with event management platforms such as Cvent, Lanyon, and/or Aventri

  • Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience supporting event registration websites, mobile applications, surveys, reporting, attendee communications, and data validation

  • Experience with UI/UX principles, digital marketing, web design, accessibility, quality assurance, or go-live readiness reviews

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, API integrations, or other digital tools is preferred but should not be positioned as advanced P3-level expertise unless required by the recruiter or job architecture guidance

  • Ability to analyze basic performance metrics, registration reports, attendee data, and data quality indicators

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical or operational issues

  • Strong stakeholder coordination, active listening, service orientation, and collaboration skills

  • Self-starter who is detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and comfortable learning new tools

  • Patient, empathetic, and service-oriented mindset

  • Willingness to work graveyard shift and be onsite at Five Neo, BGC and McKinley Hill, if required

  • Continue developing business execution, consulting, stakeholder management, risk, reporting, and digital solution capabilities


Job Expectations:

  • Execute business operations and event technology initiatives that support business objectives and customer experience improvements.

  • Manage routine to moderately complex deliverables while ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with established processes.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend practical solutions to improve operational effectiveness.

  • Utilize independent judgment to support moderate-risk deliverables and escalate higher-risk issues as appropriate

  • Design, build, test, and launch event registration websites, mobile applications, surveys, and attendee experiences.

  • Support quality assurance reviews, usability testing, and go-live readiness activities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues related to registration platforms and attendee experiences.

  • Support the implementation and adoption of event technology applications and digital solutions.

  • Prepare and analyze registration reports, operational metrics, and data quality results.

  • Identify operational risks, process gaps, and data inconsistencies and support remediation efforts.

  • Ensure adherence to established operational processes, controls, and governance requirements.

  • Collaborate with event planners, marketers, business partners, and vendors to deliver successful event outcomes.

  • Communicate project status, risks, priorities, and recommendations effectively.

  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members when appropriate.
