Consumer Warranty Defense Attorney
Responsibilities:
• Manage consumer warranty defense cases through all phases of litigation, from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Prepare persuasive motions, oppositions, and other court filings with strong attention to legal analysis and procedural requirements.
• Draft clear and well-supported briefs that reflect case strategy and applicable law.
• Conduct written discovery, review responses, and develop follow-up actions to strengthen case preparation.
• Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and other litigation-related proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external legal stakeholders to assess risk, support defense strategy, and maintain case progress.
• Analyze facts, legal issues, and documentation to develop effective arguments and recommendations.
• Maintain organized case files, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely completion of litigation tasks.
Qualifications:
• Active CA license to practice law in good standing.
• At least 5 years of litigation experience, including prior work in a law firm setting.
• Demonstrated background handling civil litigation matters.
• Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings.
• Experience managing discovery, including drafting requests and evaluating responses.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills with a high level of attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently while balancing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
Compensation
