Insurance Service Representative
Responsibilities:
• Assist members and clients with insurance-related requests, ensuring timely communication and a high standard of service throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Prepare and present coverage quotes for property and casualty products, helping clients understand available options and next steps.
• Process policy changes and endorsements accurately while maintaining complete and organized account documentation.
• Support new business activity by gathering required information, completing applications, and coordinating submissions through to binding.
• Review existing policies to identify coverage gaps, improvement opportunities, and additional solutions that align with client needs.
• Strengthen account relationships by promoting complementary insurance offerings and supporting account rounding efforts.
• Follow up consistently on outstanding service items, renewals, and client questions to help maintain retention and satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal teams and external insurance partners to resolve issues, confirm coverage details, and support efficient account handling.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in an insurance agency or similar insurance servicing environment.• Working knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, coverage concepts, and client service practices.
• Experience developing insurance quotes, handling endorsements, and supporting new business submissions.
• Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to broader account development efforts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused and detail-oriented approach.
• Property & Casualty license preferred, or ability to obtain licensure within 30 days with employer-paid licensing costs.
• Prior exposure to credit union, banking, or other financial services environments is helpful.
