Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Create and circulate recurring financial reports on a monthly basis, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and useful to plant and business leaders.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations each month and investigate discrepancies to preserve the accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing entries, reviewing results, and helping finalize reporting packages.
• Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating analyses that highlight performance trends, cost drivers, and key variances.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to address process delays, improve coordination, and reduce inefficiencies.
• Build and maintain custom financial reports, data analyses, and models to meet changing operational and management needs.
• Administer capital expenditure reporting and approval tracking, including monthly review of spending and project activity.
• Safeguard the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing transactions and helping ensure proper financial classification.
• Update and maintain financial reporting tools and complete additional assignments that support efficient workflow across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.• At least 2 years of accounting and/or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, variance review, and month-end close activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, including complex formulas, pivot tables, database extraction, and macros.
• Strong attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to interpret workplace policies, procedures, and operating instructions, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
Compensation
