Real Estate Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial evaluations of commercial real estate and hospitality opportunities to support acquisition, development, and investment decisions.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models that assess project performance, return scenarios, and key business assumptions.
• Lead property and deal-level due diligence by reviewing financial records, market information, and operational data for accuracy and risk.
• Prepare underwriting analyses for prospective transactions, including sensitivity testing and valuation assessments.
• Support fundraising activities by developing analytical materials, investment summaries, and presentation content for stakeholders and capital partners.
• Perform value creation analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost improvement, and asset performance optimization.
• Analyze budget-to-actual results and investigate variances to highlight trends, risks, and areas requiring management attention.
• Produce ad hoc financial reporting and data-driven insights to assist leadership with strategic and operational decisions.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or a related role within commercial real estate.• Strong expertise in financial modeling, underwriting, and valuation analysis for commercial real estate transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis and deliver clear interpretations of financial performance.
• Experience conducting ad hoc analysis and using data mining techniques to uncover trends and support decision-making.
• Solid understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, including asset evaluation, deal structuring, and due diligence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and investment materials.
Compensation
