FP&A Manager

We are looking for an experienced FP& A Manager to support financial planning activities for a growing business in Irvine, California. This Long-term Contract position will lead budgeting, forecasting, and analytical efforts that help business leaders make informed financial decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong modeling capabilities, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate complex financial data into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans to support business objectives.
• Build and refine financial models that evaluate performance trends, business scenarios, and operational initiatives.
• Analyze financial results against plan, identify key drivers of variances, and present actionable insights to leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and improve planning accuracy.
• Prepare clear and concise reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
• Support decision-making by assessing revenue, expense, and profitability trends across business segments.
• Use Planful and related planning tools to maintain forecasting data, streamline reporting, and enhance financial processes.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including ownership of budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
• Strong background in developing annual budgets and translating business assumptions into financial plans.
• Hands-on experience with Planful or a comparable enterprise planning platform.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to business and executive stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Compensation

$66.50-$77.00 Hourly
