HR Generalist / Recruiter

A growing company in Starkville, MS is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team. This role will have a strong focus on recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding new employees while also supporting a variety of day-to-day HR functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and enjoys building relationships with candidates, employees, and hiring managers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to build strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and pre-employment activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the recruiting process.
• Support employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and other general HR initiatives.
• Maintain employee records and ensure accurate HR documentation.
• Assist with benefits administration, training coordination, employee engagement activities, and HR compliance.
• Support HR projects and process improvements as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Human Resources experience with a strong emphasis on recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

$60,000.00-$75,000.00 Yearly
