Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing organization in Burbank, California on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. In this role, you will contribute to the daily financial operations of multiple related businesses, helping maintain accurate records and support consistent accounting practices across the organization. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a team-focused environment and can manage a variety of bookkeeping responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Create and issue customer invoices while ensuring billing records remain accurate and up to date.

• Record incoming payments promptly and apply receipts correctly to customer accounts.

• Process weekly vendor payments and maintain organized accounts payable documentation.

• Complete regular bank reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate bookkeeping records within QuickBooks Online.

• Provide accounting support for three related business entities, each operating under its own tax identification structure.

• Monitor and reconcile intercompany activity to ensure transactions are properly recorded between entities.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience with strong attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Online.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping procedures.
• Experience preparing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to manage accounting activity across multiple business entities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative small-company setting.

Compensation

$33.65-$38.00 Hourly
